לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך, נתקבל מכתבו מנר השלישי, בו כותב ר"פ מפעולותיו מהשתתפותו בפעולות צעירי אגו"ח ואת"ה בכלל.
ויהי רצון שיוסיף בזה כהנה וכהנה, שהרי הכרח ודרישת השעה היא והובטחנו בכגון דא, יגעת ומצאת, ובפרט שזכות הרבים מסייעתו, וביחוד שהרי נמצאים אנו בשנת המאתים להסתלקות-הילולא של הבעש"ט ז"ל, שנת סגולה להפצת המעינות שהיא היא תורת החסידות.
במ"ש בסיום מכתבו, שכל הנ"ל אין פועל בו בעניניו הפרטים.
הנה כיון שרבנו הזקן כותב, אשר ע"י כל פעולה כהאמורות, נעשים מוחו ולבו זכים אלף פעמים ככה, בודאי ובודאי שכן הוא במציאות, אלא שמובן מלשונו, נעשים זכים, ז.
א. שעכ"פ איזה פעולה צריכה להיות בשביל לנצל הכשרה הכי מעולה של המוח והלב ואז הצלחת פעולה זו היא אלף פעמים ככה, ובודאי שכן יהי' בהנוגע אליו, ולא יתרשם מפיתוי היצר שרוצה לפעול בו איזה נפילת רוח ח"ו, ומבואר הענין והעצה לזה בכ"מ בדא"ח, ומהם בתניא קדישא כמסומן במפתח ענינים שבסופו.

After the longest break, your letter from the third night of Chanukah was received, in which you write briefly about your activities and participation in the work of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad and general outreach.
May it be G‑d's will that you continue to increase in these efforts many times over, for it is both necessary and urgently needed. We have been assured regarding such matters: "Yagata u'Matzata" (If you toil, you will find), especially since the merit of the many assists you. In particular, we are now in the two-hundredth year since the passing—the yahrzeit—of the Baal Shem Tov z"l, a year especially auspicious for spreading the wellsprings, which is precisely the teaching of Chassidus.
As you mention at the end of your letter that all this has not yet affected your personal matters: Since our Master the Alter Rebbe writes that through every such action as described above, one's mind and heart become refined a thousandfold, it is certain—absolutely certain—that this is indeed so. However, from his wording "become refined," it is understood that at least some action is required to take advantage of this supreme refinement of mind and heart; then the success of this action will be a thousandfold greater. Surely this will be so for you as well. Do not be affected by the enticements of the yetzer hara that seeks to cause discouragement G‑d forbid. This matter and its advice are explained in many places in Chassidus; among them in Tanya Kadisha as indicated in its index at the end.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that increasing efforts in spreading Chassidus refines one’s mind and heart exponentially. Even when results aren’t immediately felt personally, persistence brings immense spiritual benefit and one should not be discouraged by inner doubts or challenges.
