Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 4th of Tammuz regarding your intended trip here for the upcoming month of Tishrei. The main point is missing from your letter: as has been discussed many times about the great importance of spreading the wellsprings (of Chassidus), it is clear and obvious that this is also your responsibility—especially considering the education you received and what you have witnessed from your esteemed father's actions throughout his life in spreading the wellsprings. This is particularly true now that there are Avrechim, our Sephardic Jewish brethren, who have only recently become aware of these teachings and who, by their origin, are connected to the inner dimension of Torah and have studied Zohar from ancient times. Your obligation in this matter is therefore much greater among the other Temimim and sons of Temimim from Russia who now encounter our Sephardic brothers. Unfortunately, until now I have not heard anything about your efforts in this area, nor do you mention it in your letter. Surely you will address this in your next letter. May it be G‑d's will that there be good news—good that produces holy fruits as well as good in material matters—as explained in Chassidus (see Likkutei Torah Shir HaShirim X, end of p. 74).
As we find ourselves on the eve of the days of redemption of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), who gave his life for spreading the wellsprings, may it be G‑d's will that his merit bring auspicious days for inner awakening in this matter and bring it into your heart and into action—and for good news.
Awaiting good news, on behalf of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita,
Secretary
It is understood that all of the above applies to all his friends among the Temimim and Anash.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that each person must take personal responsibility to spread Chassidus within their community—especially when uniquely positioned to reach those newly exposed to its teachings—and encourages sharing positive progress with others.
