במענה למכתבו אשר לפעמים פארטראכט ער זיך בהנוגע הסברות לעתידו, וזה מבלבל את לימודו וכו'.
ולפלא הדבר, שהרי במכתבו זה עצמו מזכיר מה שאמרתי לו שעליו ללמוד במשך שנה וכו' ואחרי כן להחליט, ומובן וגם פשוט שלימוד דבר חכמה בכלל ובפרט לימוד תורתנו הק', אשר לא רק שחכמתכם ובינתכם היא, כי אם היא, תורה"ק, היא חכמתו ורצונו של הקב"ה, תורה קדושה, בודאי שיש בכחה ומועילה לבטל דאגות ולהביא הצלחה ולא רק בהבנת והשגת הלימוד כי אם גם בכל צרכי האדם, ובפרט בענינים העיקרים.
וילמוד במנוחת הנפש גמורה ובהתמדה ושקידה, והשי"ת המשגיח על כאו"א בהשגחה פרטית יעזור לו בעניניו עתה וגם אחר זמן הנ"ל בלימוד.
בודאי שומר שיעורי חת"ת הידועים וגם מתעסק מזמן לזמן בפעולות צעירי אגודת חב"ד, וכיו"ב.

In response to your letter in which you sometimes find yourself preoccupied with thoughts about your future, and this disturbs your studies, etc.
It is surprising, since in this very letter you mention what I told you—that you should dedicate yourself to study for a year, etc., and only then decide. It is understood and obvious that studying wisdom in general—and especially our holy Torah, which is not only your wisdom and understanding but is the holy Torah itself, the wisdom and will of the Holy One Blessed be He—certainly has the power and effect to nullify worries and bring success not only in understanding and grasping the learning but also in all of a person's needs, especially in essential matters.
You should therefore study with complete peace of mind, diligence, and persistence. May Hashem, Who watches over each individual with Divine Providence, help you now and also after the aforementioned period in your studies.
Certainly you keep the well-known daily Chitas study schedule and also occasionally participate in activities of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad and similar endeavors.

Summary
Troubles about the future can disturb one's learning, but immersing oneself calmly and diligently in Torah brings peace of mind and success both spiritually and materially. Trusting in Divine Providence helps overcome anxieties about what lies ahead.
