Regarding what you wrote about acquiring a house in your current location or renting an apartment—in general, purchasing is preferable; however, it should be done in a way that takes into account the consideration of 'Why should you appear estranged from one another?'

Regarding what you wrote about your eldest grandson who is studying with you and not in yeshiva—I have known about this for some time already. However, since my approach is not to intervene before being asked, I have not written about it until now. But it is clear that this situation is not appropriate or good at all—for the boy himself, for his brothers, and also for his parents—aside from the impression it makes outwardly, for several understandable and obvious reasons. Especially for one who knows of the great self-sacrifice of our holy Rebbes regarding Tomchei Temimim. Certainly for someone like yourself there is no need to elaborate further on this.

At an auspicious time he and all those you write about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe—may his merit protect us—all as needed.
