ובודאי לדכוותי', אשר הוא הגבר ראה עני וחסדי השם יתברך בהנצלו מהמצוקה והתלאות הרבות, למותר להאריך אשר הבטחון בהשם יתברך בורא עולם ומנהיגו, מוצדק הוא, לא רק בהנוגע לחיי עולם הבא, אלא גם בהנוגע להענינים בעולם הזה, אף שהוא גשמי וחומרי, ומעשיו קשים ורעים, כמבואר גם בספר התניא לרבנו הזקן סוף פרק ו', והרי גם על פי חכמת הרפואה, ככל שתגדל מדת הבטחון יגדל המרץ של האדם ומשפיע גם על מצב בריאות גופו ועל מצב רוחו, שזה מוסיף גם בהצלחתו במעשיו והשתדלותו.
והבכן מכל האמור בהתאם לתוכן מכתבו, הרי מובן, ותקותי חזקה, מיוסד על הבטחת חז"ל, שכל מי שמטיבין לו הוא לאורך ימים ושנים, אשר כעבור זמן מה, יוכל לבשר שהוטב המצב באותן הנקודות אודותן כותב, ויהי רצון שהטבה זו תלך ותוסיף.
תקותי שלאחרי בקורו בכפר חב"ד לרפאות חולים הנה יבקר שם בענינים שמחים, בקור בריאים, וישתתף בההתועדויות הנערכים שם מזמן לזמן ומביאים רפואה וחיזוק עדוד רוח שפלים לב נדכאים, שפלים ונדכאים במלחמת היצרים, מלחמת הצורה עם החומר והרוח עם הגשם. שכל זה בא כתוצאה מהמלחמה דנפש האלקית עם הנפש הבהמית.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 25th of Adar with its enclosure.
At an auspicious time I will mention you and your household at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, for all that you need according to the content of your letter.
Certainly, to your honor—who has seen distress and the kindnesses of Hashem in being saved from much hardship—it is unnecessary to elaborate that trust in Hashem, Creator and Director of the world, is justified not only regarding matters of the World to Come but also concerning matters in this world, even though it is physical and material and its actions are difficult and negative. As explained also in Sefer HaTanya by our master the Alter Rebbe at the end of chapter six: even according to medical wisdom, as a person's measure of trust increases so does his energy, which also affects his bodily health and his mood. This further increases his success in his actions and efforts.
Therefore, from all that was said above and according to the content of your letter, it is understood—and my hope is strong based on our Sages' assurance—that whoever receives goodness is blessed with long days and years. After some time you will be able to report improvement in those areas about which you wrote; may it be G‑d's will that this improvement continues to increase.
I hope that after your visit to Kfar Chabad for healing purposes you will visit there again for joyful occasions—for visiting the healthy—and participate in farbrengens held there from time to time which bring healing and encouragement to those with broken spirits—those who are lowly and crushed in their battle with their inclinations: the struggle between form and matter, spirit and body. All this results from the struggle between the Divine soul and the animal soul.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true trust in Hashem uplifts both spirit and body. Strengthening bitachon brings health benefits and success. Participation in joyous gatherings further supports emotional healing during life's struggles.
