Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter in which you outline the main events that have occurred to you from your wedding until today, and the impression they have made on you to the point that your desire is etc.—and after reading your letter carefully, my opinion is that despite all the undesirable events that have happened, there is absolutely no basis whatsoever to destroy, G‑d forbid, a Jewish home whose purpose and essence is as stated in the text of the marriage blessing: an everlasting edifice. This is especially true since these events occurred during a period of transition from place to place—not only physically but also spiritually—for moving into married life and from Eretz Yisrael to abroad is a major change.
This is particularly so when considering the great importance of peace in general and shalom bayis (peace in the home) in particular—so much so that the Holy One, blessed be He, said it is better that My Name be erased in water for the sake of making peace between husband and wife. You should present your claims before a rabbinic authority here in Israel, obviously with your husband present so that the rabbi can hear both sides face-to-face; this is an essential condition for clarifying the truth.
Certainly, several ways and means will be found to repair and improve your relationship with each other—provided there is willingness on both sides; that is, yours and your husband's. This willingness is a sacred obligation upon you both, as our Sages teach in several places—including what we say every day at the start of the day—that one enjoys the fruits of peace in this world while the principal remains for the World to Come.
I hope you will reflect on these few lines—even though they are brief—giving them consideration appropriate to the seriousness and importance of this matter. May Hashem grant you success.
With blessings for good news in all mentioned above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that even significant marital challenges do not justify dissolving a Jewish home. Instead, one should seek guidance together with their spouse from a qualified rabbi and strive for shalom bayis as a sacred duty.
