Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter, in which you write that at times you are afraid of lightning and similar things. You should memorize by heart some chapters of Mishnayos and at least one chapter of Tanya, and from time to time review them as you walk in the street or similar situations. Since words of our Torah, given by the Creator of the world, will be engraved in your mind, this will increase blessings from Hashem Yisborach and His protection in all your matters.
Regarding what you wrote about having difficulties learning Tanya and similar things: ask your Ram (teacher) and mashpia in Chassidus to explain those topics where you have difficulty. The main thing is to study diligently and consistently according to the yeshiva's schedule and your teachers' instructions; then you will succeed.
You surely know about the takanah (custom) to say the daily Tehillim portion for the month every day after Shacharis; keep this up.
Blessings for good news in all the above, in the name of the Lubavitcher Rebbe shlita — Mazkir.
Summary
