לאחרי הפסק ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מיום הרביעי, בבשורה הטובה על קבלת הסכום מכספי השילומים.
ויהי רצון שכשם שמבשר טוב בענינים שהם מצ"ע גשמיים, יבשר בשו"ט בענינים אשר מצ"ע הם רוחנים, ונוסף על הנ"ל - גם בתכלית דירידת הנשמה, אשר ענינים הגשמים יהפכו להיות כלים לענינים הרוחנים, עד אשר יתראה מעין השכר דלע"ל, שהנשמה תקבל חיותה מהגוף, ועד"ז בכללות, הרוחניות מהגשמיות.
ומתאים להנ"ל, עלי להעיר על הסגנון האי מתאים דהתחלת מכתבו - שהנהו לבשר שקבל סכום כך וכך, וקנה לו מכונות וכו' ונתן דמי קדימה על בית וכו' ושמקוה שיעשה עוד הלואה על הבית, ותו לא מידי בענין זה.
ויהי רצון שבמכתבו הבא, יהי' הסגנון, שכיון שקבל סכום כו"כ הרי מעצמו פשוט שהפריש תומ"י מעשר לצדקה, אלא שע"פ המבואר באגה"ק מיוסד על פסק חז"ל הוסיף בהפרשתו זו סכום כו"כ ועוד ידו נטוי', אלא שע"פ המבואר ונאמר ארבע הידות יהי' לכם (עיין לקו"ת שה"ש ו, ד) - הנה בעד חלק מכסף זה, קנה מכונה וגם נתן דמי קדימה וכו'.
נעם לי לקרות במכתבו ע"ד הפצת התקנה דאמירת תהלים בשבת מברכין החדש, קודם התפלה, ויהי רצון שבקרוב יהי' בזה גם מנין שלם, וכמבואר באגה"ק סי' כ"ג שבכל ענין של קדושה ענין נעלה הוא שיהי' בי עשרה.

After a long pause, your letter from Wednesday was received with the good news about receiving the sum from the reparations funds.
May it be G‑d's will that just as you bring good news in matters that are essentially material, you will also bring good news in matters that are essentially spiritual. Additionally—and even more so—in the ultimate purpose of the soul's descent: that material matters become vessels for spiritual matters, until a reflection of the reward of the future is revealed, when the soul will receive its vitality from the body; and similarly in general—the spiritual from the material.
In line with this, I must comment on the inappropriate style at the beginning of your letter—that you wrote only to inform me that you received such-and-such a sum, bought machines, etc., gave a down payment on a house, etc., and hope to take another loan on the house—and nothing more about this matter.
May it be G‑d's will that in your next letter, your style will be such that since you received such-and-such a sum it goes without saying that you immediately separated maaser for tzedakah. Moreover, as explained in Iggeres HaKodesh based on our Sages' ruling, you added an additional amount to this separation and your hand is still outstretched. Furthermore, as explained and stated "Arba HaYadot Yihyu Lachem" (see Likkutei Torah Shir HaShirim VI:4)—that for part of this money you bought a machine and also gave a down payment, etc.
I was pleased to read in your letter about spreading the custom of reciting Tehillim on Shabbat Mevarchim before prayer. May it be G‑d's will that soon there will also be a full minyan for this practice. As explained in Iggeres HaKodesh section 23: in every matter of holiness it is especially lofty when there are ten present.
