נעם לי לקרות במכתבו, שנתיסדה ועדה שמטרתה לחזק ולהגדיל את החינוך על טהרת הקדש של הילדים והנוער, אשר בסביבתם.
ויהי רצון שכל חבר הועדה ובכלל כל היראים לדבר ה' אשר בסביבתם, יעבדו בהאמור במסירות נפש מתאים לגודל הענין וערכו ובאופן דמוסיף והולך דוקא, ובפרט שמתקרבים אנו לימי הסגולה יו"ד וי"ט כסלו, גאולת תורת החסידות וכל עניני' ולאחרי זה ימי חנוכה אשר ענינם הוספה באור הלוך והוסיף וקיימים לעולם (וכפירוש הרמב"ן ריש פרשת בהעלותך) שבודאי שעת הכושר הוא להוסיף בנר מצוה תורה אור ומאור שבתורה זוהי תורת החסידות.

In response to your letter from the 2nd of Kislev, the month of miracles and redemption. I was pleased to read in your letter that a committee has been established whose purpose is to strengthen and expand education in purity and holiness for the children and youth in your surroundings.
May it be G‑d's will that every member of the committee, and indeed all those who are G‑d-fearing in your area, work on this matter with self-sacrifice appropriate to the greatness and importance of the cause, and specifically in a manner of continual increase. This is especially relevant as we approach the auspicious days of Yud and Yud-Tes Kislev—the redemption of Chassidus and all its matters—and afterwards the days of Chanukah, whose theme is increasing light continuously and eternally (as explained by the Ramban at the beginning of Parshas Behaaloscha). Certainly now is an opportune time to add in "Ner Mitzvah Torah Or" (the candle is a mitzvah and Torah is light) and the luminary within Torah—that is, Chassidus.

P.S. Regarding what you wrote about a visit from Paris to Machaneh HaTav in connection with the bright day of Yud-Tes Kislev: they should address it directly there according to instructions. Moshe: Lachayni, Marseille. Another letter to him—see above vol. 12 p. 9.
