Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 5th of Cheshvan, in which you write that there are those who mock you for studying our holy Torah in yeshivah. It is already known that the beginning and foundation of all four sections of Shulchan Aruch is the principle of not being ashamed before those who mock, see there in Tur and Rema. On the contrary, if one is affected by mockers, there is no end to it, and one can G‑d forbid descend lower and lower, etc.
Since the time when the Jewish people received the Torah at the giving at Mount Sinai, non-Jews mocked them as explained in the Midrashim of our Sages. Yet Israel stood strong in their faith in Hashem Who gives the Torah and also leads the world and all its matters—including a person's livelihood and his family's sustenance. As we say in Birkat HaMazon (which is from the Torah): "He Who nourishes the entire world with His goodness, with grace, kindness, and mercy." From this it is understood—and it is simple—that increasing Torah study and mitzvah observance increases what a person needs for his sustenance.
May it be G‑d's will that you study diligently both Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus and fulfill mitzvos with beauty; through this will be increased blessings from He Who gives the Torah—in your matters and those of your entire family.
You surely know about the three well-known daily portions: Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya. At least keep to them from now on.
Blessings for good news, in the name of the Rebbe shlita.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that one should not be deterred by mockery when studying Torah; steadfastness brings both spiritual growth and material blessing for oneself and one's family.
