במענה למכתבו מיום הבהיר ח"י אלול עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו, שיקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע,
לא נראית לי הסברא שילמוד בביה"ס בכתות מעורבות וכיו"ב, שהרי זה נתינת הכשר, ולא עוד אלא שגם מעין פרצות גדר דהנהגת החוג בו נמצא, והרי הזן ומפרנס לכל המציא לו פרנסתו עד עתה, ובודאי שגם בשנה זו החדשה ימציא לו פרנסתו בחן ובחסד וברחמים, ואף שבתקופתנו זו עבודה בחינוך עטה"ק ענין הכי נעלה וחיוני הוא, הרי עוד חזון למועד כשאפשר יהי' לסדר הדבר באופן שלא תהינה כל סרכות בהאמור.

In response to your letter from the bright day of 18 Elul, with the enclosed pan to be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbagam zya, I do not agree with the idea of studying in a school with mixed classes or similar situations. This is essentially granting approval, and furthermore, it constitutes a breach in the standards of conduct of the group you are part of. The One Who sustains and provides for all has given you your livelihood until now, and surely also in this new year He will provide your livelihood with grace, kindness, and mercy. Although in our times work in Torah education is most lofty and essential, there will yet come an opportunity when it can be arranged without any of the aforementioned issues.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that one should avoid compromising on Torah values even for important pursuits like education work. Trust in G‑d's providence ensures that one's needs will be met without having to accept questionable circumstances.
