נעם לי לקרות בו אשר הכיר חסידי חב"ד, ובטח נוסף על מה ששמע מאתם סיפורים נפלאים ומנגינות שונות, חקר גם אודות תורת החסידות והדרכותי', שהרי זה כל האדם להתנהג באורח חיים מתאים להוראת תורתנו הק' תורת חיים, הוראות חדורות מדות חסידותיות. ואין הדבר אלא ברצון, שהרי הבטיחו חז"ל יגעת ולא מצאת אל תאמין.
בשאלתו אודות חסידי חב"ד וכו' הרי כמה ספרים וגם חוברות נדפסות ישנם בענין זה, ויוכל להוודע אודותם אצל החסידים עמהם נפגש.
תקותי שהקישור מכתבים אתי יביא להוספה בהתמדה ושקידה בלימוד התורה והידור בקיום המצות, והשי"ת יצליחו.

In response to your letter, I was pleased to read that you have met Chabad chassidim. Surely, in addition to hearing from them wondrous stories and various melodies, you have also inquired about the teachings of Chassidus and its guidance. After all, this is the essence of man—to conduct oneself in a manner fitting the directives of our holy Torah, a Torah of life, with instructions imbued with chassidic character traits. This is dependent only on one's willpower, for our Sages said: "If you labored and did not find—do not believe."
Regarding your question about Chabad chassidim and related matters—there are many books and pamphlets published on this subject, and you can learn about them from the chassidim you have met.
It is my hope that our correspondence will lead to increased diligence and consistency in Torah study and enhanced observance of mitzvos. May Hashem grant you success.
