מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מי"ג מ"ח עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו, שיקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע. בו מבשר מהכנס לעול מצות של נכדו דוד שי' בשמע"צ העבר, וכן מהכנס לעול מצות של נכדו נח שי' בש"ק פ' וישלח הבע"ל, וכבר ידועים דברים הנפלאים של רז"ל בהנוגע לבר מצוה, וז"ל:
דההוא יומא חובתא על צדיקא למעבד חדוותא דליבא כיומא דסליק לחופה ובגין ההוא זכותא עתיד הקב"ה לאתערא להו ולעברא כרוזא קדמיהון בחדוה צאינה וראינה בנות ציון (זהר חדש בראשית טו, ד. ועיין ג"כ שם יו"ד ג, ד, ובזהר ח"ב צח, א. אשר על יום הבר מצוה נאמר, מאמר דוד המלך, שה' אומר לו בני אתה אני היום ילידתיך, ומבואר הענין ברשימות הצמח צדק על תהלים שם).
ויהי רצון שלארך ימים ושנים טובות יראה נחת אמיתי הוא נחת חסידותי מכל יו"ח שיחיו, וזה עוד יוסיף לכת"ר כח עלומים לעשות להחזקת היהדות והפצתה, יהדות האמיתית בלתי פשרות, יהדות ישראל סבא.
ובפרט שהרי מתקרבים אנו לחדש כסלו, הוא חדש הנסים והגאולה נצחון תורתך וחוקי רצונך, וכמבואר הדיוק בזה תורתך דוקא ולא חכמה סתם וחוקי רצונך, גזירה גזרתי חוקה חקקתי ואין לך רשות להרהר אחרי'.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 13th of Marcheshvan with the enclosed pan (petitionary note), which will be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory.
In it you share news about your grandson David entering the yoke of mitzvos this past Shemini Atzeres, as well as your grandson Nach entering the yoke of mitzvos on the upcoming Shabbos Parshas Vayishlach. The wondrous words of our Sages regarding Bar Mitzvah are already well known: "On that day it is an obligation for a righteous person to make a celebration of heart like on the day he enters the chuppah; and because of this merit, in the future the Holy One will arouse them and proclaim before them in joy: 'Go out and see, daughters of Zion'" (Zohar Chadash Bereishis 15d; see also ibid. Yud Daled 3d and Zohar II 98a). Regarding the day of Bar Mitzvah it is said—the statement of King David—that G‑d says to him: 'You are My son; today I have begotten you,' and this matter is explained in the notes of tzt"z on Tehillim there.
May it be G‑d's will that for long days and good years you should see true nachas—Chassidic nachas—from all your descendants who may they live. This will further add to your youthful strength to act for strengthening Judaism and spreading it—true Judaism without compromise—the Judaism of Yisrael Saba.
Especially as we are approaching the month of Kislev, which is a month of miracles and redemption—'the victory of Your Torah and statutes of Your will,' as explained in detail: specifically 'Your Torah' (not just wisdom) and 'statutes of Your will,' 'I have decreed a decree; I have enacted a statute; you have no permission to question after Me.'
