...כיון שבשנים שעברו ראיתי במכ"ע המופיע בשווייץ, קטע בקשר עם יום הבהיר י"ט כסלו, הנני מרשה לעצמי להסגיר חוברת בפרשת חג זה, ובטח יש מקום לנצלה או תוכנה בכדי לבאר פרשת היום לחוגים אשר מאיזה סיבות לא נודע להם עד"ז עד עתה, ואם בכל הזמנים דרשו לנצל כל אופני תעמולה להחזקת היהדות והפצתה, עאכו"כ בדורנו דור יתום, ואשר ביחד עם זה נרגשת אכזבה גדולה באלילי האידעאליזם השונות של הרחוב, והאכזבה הביאה להכרה שצריך למצוא המטרה האמיתית להתכלית בחיים, חיי האיש הישראלי, וכל הקודם להורות להמחפשים הדרך האמיתית המובילה למטרה זו צריך התורה והמצוה, הרי זה מקיים נפש מישראל ולעתים תכופות ביותר, קיום נפש זה מקיים כל הבית ולפעמים גם החוג בו נמצא, וזכות הרבים מסייעת כל המשתדלים בזה בהצלחה בהשתדלותם.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו להרמת קרן ישראל סבא, ובודאי שמביאה היא גם לתוספת בברכות השי"ת בענינים הפרטים, וכהבטחת נותן התורה בתורתו.

Since in previous years I saw in the newspaper published in Switzerland a section related to the bright day of Yud-Tes Kislev, I am taking the liberty of enclosing a booklet about this holiday. Surely there is an opportunity to use it or its content to explain the significance of the day to circles who, for various reasons, have not yet become aware of it until now. If at all times it was necessary to utilize every means of publicity to strengthen and spread Judaism, how much more so in our generation—a spiritually orphaned generation—in which there is also a great disappointment with the various idols of street idealism. This disappointment has led to the recognition that one must find the true purpose and goal in life—the life of a Jewish person. Whoever is first to show those searching for the true path leading to this goal that Torah and mitzvah are necessary not only sustains a Jewish soul but very often sustains an entire household, and sometimes even the entire circle in which one finds oneself. The merit of the many assists all who strive in this with success in their efforts.
With blessings for success in your work to uplift Keren Yisrael Saba, which certainly also brings increased blessings from Hashem in personal matters, as promised by the Giver of Torah in His Torah.
