והנה יסיחו דעתם מביאור ענינים כאלו על ידי כשוף, כי זהו מחליש ההשתדלות בהצלתה, שהרי ישראל אע"פ שחטא ישראל הוא ומחוייבים לעשות כל האפשרי בזה וגם על פי דרך הטבע, ובודאי אשר יש למצוא ענינים טבעים שהיו מהמסייעים לצעד המבהיל הנ"ל ואז יקל למצוא התרופות איך להלחם נגדם.
אבל נוסף על הנ"ל צריך לברר אם נולדה בטהרה, זאת אומרת בעת שאמה התעברה בה, היתה מותרת על פי דין תורה, ובאם ח"ו היתה בזה איזה מגרעת, על ההורים להחליט בתוקף שמכאן ולהבא ידקדקו בשמירת וזהירות חוקי ודיני טהרת המשפחה ככל הדרוש וישפיעו בכל סביבתם בזה, שהרי ההשפעה על הזולת הוא תיקון במקצת על העבר, והשי"ת הרואה ללבב כשיראה החלטתם בזה, בטח יוסיף בברכתו שתצליח ההשתדלות בהצלת נפש מישראל, ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בזה.

For a Jew, even if he has sinned, he remains a Jew, and we are obligated to do everything possible in this matter—even through natural means. Certainly there are natural factors that contributed to the alarming step mentioned above; identifying them will make it easier to find remedies for how to fight against them.
But in addition to the above, it is necessary to clarify whether she was born in purity—that is, at the time her mother conceived her, was she permitted according to Torah law? If G‑d forbid there was any deficiency in this regard, the parents must firmly resolve that from now on they will be meticulous in observing and safeguarding the laws of family purity as required and influence everyone around them in this matter. After all, influencing others is a partial rectification for the past. When Hashem—Who sees into hearts—sees their resolution in this area, He will surely increase His blessing so that their efforts to save a Jewish soul will succeed.
