Shalom u'Vrachah!
Your letter was received along with the two articles you attached, and as you requested I reviewed the monograph. I must say that your explanation regarding the method to prevent immunity against medicinal agents is very well received, and it is only surprising how until now this approach has not been adopted and acted upon according to this reasoning. Although in the history of science there are several similar phenomena, still the past should teach the future, and the number of such phenomena should be decreasing over time.
Of course, my intention here is not to express surprise but rather to point out that perhaps research has already been conducted in the direction you propose and actions have been taken accordingly, even though it is certain that before publishing your article you thoroughly investigated this as much as possible.
By the way, although this is not my field, I noticed in the tables of your monograph that remedies and treatment methods used over 150 years ago are cited. This too is surprising: after such a long period it is certain these methods were used many times with modifications and improvements in their application; it is impossible there were no innovations either way. The purpose of these tables is not a history of medical science but rather practical benefit for medicine and treatment with these remedies—where only the most recent results should be utilized. As our Torah teaches (to distinguish), there is a logical rule: halachah kebatrai (the law follows the later authorities), since they saw the words of those before them.
All of the above is written from the perspective of someone outside this field—just as an external observation.
With blessings for success in your research—in both your work in healing souls (through education based on pure holiness) and healing bodies.
Summary
The Rebbe encourages innovation in medicine while emphasizing reliance on current knowledge and ongoing research, drawing a parallel to Torah's principle of following later authorities for practical guidance.
