מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מעש"ק, וכמובן אמלא בקשתו להזכירם על הציון הק' של בעל השמחה כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע. ויהי רצון שזכותו לא רק יגן עלינו במקיף, אלא גם יעורר בפנימיות, בעניני תורה ומצותי' בכלל, ובנקודה התיכונה - הפצת המעינות חוצה שכיון שדרישת והכרח השעה היא, בודאי שכ"א יכול לפעול בזה, ובפרט אלו שזכו לראותם, ובמכש"כ וק"ו ממרז"ל מפעולת הראי' דמקלו של ר"מ* וקדלא דר"מ. ובפרט אשר השנה היא תקופת השלשים שנה ליום הגאולה בפעם הראשונה וכמדובר גם בהתועדות דש"מ תמוז בענין מעלת השלשים. ומוסג"פ רשימה קצרה.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh, and as expected I will fulfill your request to mention you at the holy resting place (the Ohel) of the one celebrating—the Previous Rebbe, my father-in-law, of blessed memory.
May it be G‑d's will that his merit not only protect us in a general way but also inspire us internally—in matters of Torah and mitzvos in general, and especially in the central point: spreading the wellsprings outward. Since this is a pressing demand and necessity of our time, surely everyone can accomplish something in this area—especially those who merited to see him. All the more so according to our Sages regarding the effect of seeing Rabbi Meir's staff and Rabbi Meir's cloak.
Especially since this year marks thirty years since the first day of redemption (Yud-Beis Tammuz), as has been discussed also at the farbrengen on Shabbat Mevarchim Tammuz about the special quality of thirty years. Enclosed is a short note.
Blessings for good news in all mentioned above—with expanded mind and proper health for you and your wife, may she live long.
