... במ"ש אודות ענינו של הרב... שי' גם על כגון דא קאי המבואר בלקו"ת דשבוע זה, אשר אף שהצורה אין מתאימה יש לנצל הכח שבהצורה באופן הרצוי וככל האפשרי, ולכן יש להשתמש בתכונת נפשו באופן להגדיל עי"ז הפצת המעינות, ז.א. הנהגות והדרכות תורת החסידות וגם לימודה, וכפי שמתאר מהותו לא יהיו קישוים בדבר ע"י גישה בדרכי נועם וד"ל.
מה שכן יש לתקן הוא במה שכותב שהנ"ל אסר[1] במשך כל השבוע והתיר רק בלילי ש"ק, וכנראה ממכתבו אסר בפרסום ובתוקף, ומובנת התוצאות שיש לחשוש להנ"ל בדורנו דור יתום. ואם בכח עצמו לא יוכל לשנות דעתו של הנ"ל בזה, אזי יש מקום שאכתוב אני, מכאן בזה.

Regarding what you wrote about the matter of the Rav... shiyichyeh, even in such cases applies what is explained in Likkutei Torah of this week: although the form may not be fitting, one should utilize the power within that form in the proper and possible way. Therefore, his soul's qualities should be used to increase the spreading of the wellsprings—that is, the conduct and guidance of Chassidus and also its study. As you describe his essence, there should not be difficulties in this matter if approached pleasantly—and that is sufficient.
What does need correction is what you write that he prohibited [1] throughout the entire week and permitted only on Friday nights. It seems from your letter that he prohibited it publicly and strongly, and the consequences are understandable—one must be concerned about this in our generation, an orphaned generation. If you cannot change his mind on your own regarding this matter, then there is room for me to write to him about it; let me know accordingly.
