Havavac"h iy"a nu"n Mohe Yeshaya Uri Shub
Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was pleased to receive regards from you through Havavac"h iy"a nu"n Baal Midos Bar Avhan u'Bar Orin Chaim Shneur Zalman Marzav, who also told me of your good relationship with him and your friends.
May it be G‑d's will that for many years you continue to bring goodness to your environment and wherever your influence reaches, with health, joy, and gladness of heart. In the central point—corresponding to the teaching "Ein veshachat ela umashach," that drawing the knife draws the animal and prepares it to become blood and flesh like that of a human (who is called so because he resembles the Supreme), as explained by the holy Shelah—that spiritual actions should likewise draw all aspects of the animal soul in a Jew to become vessels for matters (in the words of our master the Alter Rebbe) of the second soul in Israel, which is truly a part of G‑d above, called as it were Adam HaElyon upon the throne.
With honor and blessing for good news in all mentioned above, with proper health.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that through dedicated avodah (spiritual work), one can elevate even the animal soul to serve as a vessel for holiness. This transformation brings positive influence to one's surroundings and aligns one's inner being with G‑dliness.
