Shalom u'Vrachah!

Your urgent letter was received. I suspected that the urgency was because it concerned a material matter; unfortunately, this was confirmed. As is your habit, you do not write at all or at least only very rarely—except when issues arise that are directly related to physical matters. Then you immediately send an urgent letter along with a request that the response should be just as swift. However, according to the Metzudat David's explanation on the verse "Poteach... u'Masbia l'chol chai ratzon" (He opens... and satisfies every living being's desire), and especially as is well known: "Dem tzweitens gashmiyus iz ba mir ruchniyus" (Another's material needs are for me spiritual), I am therefore fulfilling even this wish of yours...

May it be G‑d's will that even though we are approaching the festival of haste—when our ancestors left Egypt in great haste—the advantage of "b'shuvah v'nachat tivashe'un" (in calmness and tranquility you shall be saved) will also be felt. This is now the preparation—in the footsteps of Mashiach—for the future redemption speedily in our days. See also Hemshech V'Kacha—the great one—at its beginning and end.

Blessings for a kosher and happy Pesach,

In the name of the Rebbe shlita,
Secretary

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that another person's material needs are a spiritual matter for him. Even when urgency surrounds physical concerns, one should approach them with inner calm and prepare for redemption with both haste and tranquility.
