בפעולות יום הבהיר י"ט כסלו גאולתנו ופדות נשפנו, ויהי רצון שתהי' זה התחלה טובה לפעולות מורחבות הן בכמות והן באיכות ובמילא יתרבה ג"כ הרצון לכתוב שהידיעות אלו משמחים ומענגים את הנפש ומקיימים בכתיבה המצוה דואהבת לרעך כמוך, ויהי רצון שלא יסתפק בזה אלא ישפיע על כל אלה שיד השפעתו מגעת שגם הם יתנהגו כהנ"ל וכהוראת ימי חנוכה דאזלינן מנייהו שמוסיף והולך מיום ליום בנר ואור הבא משמן טהור משתשקע החמה (שמ"ר טו, ו) ועל פתח ביתו מבחוץ.

May it be G‑d's will that this be a good beginning for expanded activities both in quantity and quality, and consequently, may there also increase your desire to write, as this information brings joy and delight to the soul and fulfills through writing the mitzvah of Ve'Ahavta L'Rei'acha Kamocha (Love your fellow as yourself). May it be G‑d's will that you not be satisfied with this alone but also influence all those within your sphere of influence so that they too will act accordingly, following the lesson from the days of Chanukah—that we proceed from them by increasing day by day in light and candlelight that comes from pure oil after sunset (Shir HaShirim Rabbah 15:6) and at the entrance of his house on the outside.
