במענה על מכתבו בו כותב ע"ד המצב העגום במחנו הט' (שהרי כל אחד מישראל חיבוהו וגם זיכוהו אנשי כנסת הגדולה לאמר: נשמה שנתת בי טהורה היא) ובפרט בשטח החינוך, אשר לכן עלה בדעתו לעזוב מקומו כי אין אף אחד במחנו למי לדבר וכו'.
ובודאי למותר להאריך אשר אין לתקן מצב בלתי רצוי ע"י ניסה מן המערכה, ואם בכאו"א דברים אלו אמורים עאכו"כ בנוגע לרב, ומובטחים אנו ג"כ שחזקה לתעמולה שאינה חוזרת ריקם וטובה פעולה אחת מאלף אנחות, וודאי הדבר אשר באם ישאר במחנו ויוסיף בפעולות נמרצות להחזקת היהדות והפצתה, הנה לא לבד שעי"ז יעכב שלא יוגרע המצב אלא שגם יעלה בידו להיטיבו, ומ[ז]ה מובנת האחריות בעזיבתו המערכה, וק"ל.
ומובן שבכדי שתהיינה פעולותיו מוצלחות ביותר, טוב שיתקשר עם גושים צבורים שיתמכו בהשתדלות שלו וישתתפו בפעולותיו בזה, ומהנכון שיבוא בדברים ג"כ עם חבר הפעילים התורתי (אחת הכתבת שלו, הרב ש. ד. ליפשיץ, יהלם 44 רמת גן) ויסביר לו המצב, ואפשר יוכל לבוא לעזרתו.
ומ"ש ש"במדינת ישראל א"א להשמיע שום ערעור", לא כן הדבר אלא שבעוה"ר אין מנצלים כל האפשריות שבזה, וק"ל.

In response to your letter in which you write about the distressing situation in our camp (for every Jew has been obligated and also privileged by the Men of the Great Assembly to say: "The soul You have given me is pure") and especially regarding education, and therefore you have considered leaving your place since there is no one in our camp with whom to speak, etc.
Certainly it is unnecessary to elaborate that an undesirable situation cannot be corrected by fleeing from the scene; and if this applies to everyone, how much more so regarding a rabbi. We are also assured that persistent effort never returns empty-handed, and one action is better than a thousand sighs. It is certain that if you remain in our camp and increase your vigorous activities to strengthen and spread Judaism, not only will you prevent deterioration but you will also succeed in improving the situation. From this, the responsibility involved in leaving the scene is understood.
It is clear that for your activities to be most successful, it is good to connect with organized groups who will support your efforts and participate in these activities. It would be appropriate for you to also speak with a member of the Torah activists group (one of its writers, Rabbi Sh. D. Lifshitz, Yahelam 44 Ramat Gan) and explain the situation to him—perhaps he can assist you.
As for what you wrote that "in the State of Israel it is impossible to voice any objection," this is not so; rather, unfortunately not all possibilities are being utilized in this regard.
Blessings for good news—that you wage a vigorous battle to uplift the pride of Israel Saba through your Torah and mitzvos—and certainly you will ultimately succeed.
