We acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 28th of Kislev with the enclosed pan (pidyon nefesh), which will be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil ben chayim mezichro tzaddik l'vracha. Surely by now you have already received a response to your previous letters.

Regarding what you wrote about the book Torat Maasei Breishit ^[1], what was written about it was not written as a decree but rather with its reasoning and explanation on the spot and with references. What has been written is only a very small part of what could be written in this style, because the content of that book is alarming, as can also be seen from the examples in your letter about it.

The girl you write about who suffers from "falling sickness – cramps" is unclear; if not this then that. In any case, for both conditions there are effective medicines and medical treatments. Surely you will consult expert doctors and follow their instructions.

It is known that our custom* (unlike some later authorities) regarding women is to write "with all organs," since there are several opinions in the Talmud regarding the number of organs in a woman.
