I was pleased to receive regards from you through the intermediary, the chassidic Rav iy"a nu"n who is involved with tzt"z and is a person of character, etc., Moreh Azriel Zelig Shlita Slonim. As per your request, I will mention you and your family at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nbg"m zy"a. Your involvement—and that of your esteemed husband—in benefiting the public will stand you in good stead for all your needs both materially and spiritually.

Rav Slonim Shlita told me specifically about your son who serves as a military rabbi. Surely he uses every opportunity in his environment to explain to all those under his influence about the command of our Torah—the Torah of life—to everyone in the camp: that there is an obligation to increase vigilance against anything negative for each one of them and to add in holiness. As it says in the verse: Hashem Elokecha mis'halech b'kerev machanecha v'haya machanecha kadosh ("The L‑rd your G‑d walks within your camp and your camp shall be holy"). The heart of Israel is always awake; it only depends on someone who can arouse it by finding the right words—words that come from the heart.

May it be G‑d's will that this be as taught by the days of Chanukah: always increasing light from pure oil until it shines at the entrance of one's house outward after sunset. May Hashem grant him success to be among those who strive for this as required.
