שיק איך מיין באגריסונג און ברכה צו דער חשוב'ער פרעזידענטין, צו דער לאנטשען קאמיטי און צו אלע מיטגלידערינס פון דער אקזילערי, ווי אויך צו אלע פריינט און אנטיילנעמערינס אין דער אונטערנעמונג.
אזוי ווי אייער לאנטשען קומט פאר כ"ג כסלו, צווישן די לכיטיגע טעג פון י"ט כסלו און חנוכה, האף איך אז די אונטערנעמונג וועט זיך אויסצייכנען מיט גרויסע דערגרייכונגען, און וועט אריבערשטייגען די צילען וועלכע זי האט זיך געשטעלט, און האט דערווארטעט.
עס איז באוואוסט דער מאמר רז"ל וועגען חנוכה, אז דער יום-טוב איז פארבונדען מיט העלדישע אידישע פרויען און זייער מסירות-נפש'דיגע אויפפירונג אין יענער תקופה, ניט קוקענדיג אויף אלע שוועריגקייטען און גזירות וועלכע זיי האבען געדארפט בייקומען. און דעריבער זאגען חז"ל אף הן היו באותו הנס - די פרויען האבען אויך א חלק אין דעם נס, און נאך מער - אז דורך זיי איז געווען דער נס.
עס איז אויך באוואוסט, אז יעדער יאהר ווידערהאלט זיך יענע תקופה אין דעם זין, אז עס איז א עת רצון מיוחד פאר דערגרייכונגען אין אלע ענינים פון תורה ומצוות, לויט דעם נוסח פון דער ברכה - שעשה נסים לאבותינו בימים ההם בזמן הזה.
און לויט דעם אויסדרוק פון מיין שווער, כ"ק אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, דער גרינדער פון דער ישיבה פאר וועלכער איר האט דעם זכות צו זיין טעטיג: מען דארף זיך צוהערען וואס די ליכטעלעך - נרות חנוכה - דערצעהלען, זאל השם יתברך אייך מצליח זיין זיך צו-צוהערען און דערהערען, און ברענגען דאס אין מעשה בפועל.
בברכה להצלחה בעבודתן בקדש ווי אויך בעניניהן הפרטים.

In response to your notification about your luncheon marking twenty years of activity, and in honor of your esteemed president, Rebbetzin Freida Kazarnovsky, I send my greetings and blessings to the esteemed president, to the luncheon committee, and to all members of the auxiliary, as well as to all friends and participants in this event.
Since your luncheon takes place on the 23rd of Kislev, between the auspicious days of Yud-Tes Kislev and Chanukah, I hope that this event will be distinguished by great accomplishments and will exceed the goals it has set for itself and anticipated.
It is well known from our Sages regarding Chanukah that this holiday is connected with heroic Jewish women and their self-sacrificing conduct during that era, despite all difficulties and decrees they had to overcome. Therefore our Sages say "Af hen hayu b’oto hanes" (they too were part of that miracle)—the women also had a share in the miracle; moreover, it was through them that the miracle occurred.
It is also known that every year that period repeats itself in a spiritual sense; it is a special time for success in all matters of Torah and mitzvos according to the wording of the blessing: "She'asah nissim la'avoseinu bayamim hahem bazman hazeh" (Who performed miracles for our ancestors in those days at this time).
And according to the expression of my father-in-law, my revered teacher and master—the founder of the yeshivah for which you have the merit to be active: one must listen to what the lights—the Chanukah candles—tell us. May Hashem grant you success in listening closely and internalizing this message, bringing it into actual deed.
