... וע"פ המבואר בכ"מ ומהם באגרת הקדש לרבנו הזקן סוף סי' ז', שלכל הנפשות הרוחות והנשמות ישנה מצוה מיוחדת שבה צריכה העדפה וזהירות וזריזות יתירה ביתר שאת ויתר עז כפולה ומכופלת למעלה מעלה מזהירות שאר המצות, הנה בכל אחד מאנ"ש ומגזע אנ"ש הוא הענין דהפצת המעינות אשר רבותינו נשיאנו שהם בבחי' ראש ומוחין דכל אנ"ש (ראה תניא פרק ב') מסרו נפשם על זה - הנה בטח גם הוא יתנהג כהאמור באגרת הקדש זו בהפצה זו, וגם זה ימהר כל עניניו הפרטים, שזהו מסגולת מצוה פרטית האמורה.
ויה"ר שגם זכות יום זה יגרום, שהוא שמחת הגאולה של כ"ק אדמו"ר האמצעי, להגן על כאו"א בתכ"י[2] להפצת המעינות בכל מקום עד שיגיעו גם להנדחים ואפילו להאובדים מתאים לענינו של בעל השמחה התרחבות והתפשטות וכידוע מכ"ק נשיאינו רבותנו, אשר אדמו"ר הזקן, אדמו"ר האמצעי ואדמו"ר הצמח צדק, הן בבחי' ספירת החכמה, ספירת הבינה, וספירת הדעת.

... And as explained in many places, including in Iggeres HaKodesh by our master the Alter Rebbe at the end of section 7, that every soul, spirit, and neshama has a unique mitzvah in which it must excel with extra care and enthusiasm—far beyond the caution shown with other mitzvos—so too for every member of Anash and their descendants, the matter is spreading the wellsprings. Our Rebbeim and leaders—who are like the head and intellect for all of Anash (see Tanya chapter 2)—devoted their lives to this. Surely he too will act as described in this Iggeres HaKodesh regarding this spreading, and this will also hasten all his personal matters, which is a special quality of this particular mitzvah.
May it be G‑d's will that the merit of this day—the day of redemption and joy for the Mitteler Rebbe—will protect everyone within Klal Yisrael involved in spreading the wellsprings everywhere, even reaching those who are distant or lost. This fits with the theme of the baal hasimchah: expansion and outreach, as is known from our Rebbeim—namely, the Alter Rebbe (Chochmah), Mitteler Rebbe (Binah), and tzt"z (Daas).
