Shalom u'Vrachah!

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from before Rosh Chodesh Kislev, the month of redemption and miracles, together with the lists of Beis Rivkah students—may G‑d be upon them for life.

At an auspicious time I will mention them at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, zatzal nishmaso Eden, leader of Israel, for outstanding success in their studies and conduct, bringing much satisfaction to parents, teachers, and the administration of Beis Rivkah. Certainly my father-in-law the Rebbe will arouse all these matters as well as strengthening and developing Beis Rivkah both quantitatively (number of students) and qualitatively (level of studies and quality of conduct). Fortunate are all those who strive in this matter and the students who study at this school.

It is obvious that these matters are also included in the heavenly court's ruling about which my father-in-law the Rebbe Maharash related: because of this self-sacrifice (of the Alter Rebbe) for the teachings of Chassidus, it was decreed in the heavenly court that in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits—the hand of his followers would prevail.

As a sign of my participation in matters concerning Beis Rivkah, enclosed is a receipt for twenty-five [currency], and may it be G‑d's will that "so may it continue," as explained in Likkutei Torah on "Sos Asis BaHashem," chapter two.
