במענה על מכתבו - שנתאחר קצת דרך הילוכו - בו כותב אודות מקום פרנסתו שאינו במקום המתאים, וזה השפיע ג"כ על הפרנסה ומסתפק אם להוציא הילדים מהישיבה בכדי שיעזרו לו בפרנסה.
והנה בודאי אשר גם לחשוב עד"ז אין צריך, ואדרבה על ידי לימודם בתורתנו תורת חיים יתוסף בברכות נותן התורה הוא בורא עולם ומנהיגו בהמצטרך להוריהם, זאת אומרת, גם בפרנסתו ובבריאותו, ויש להשתדל בעצות אחרות אבל לא למעט ח"ו באותו הענין שעל ידו מתוסף ברכה גם בעניניו הוא.
ומהנכון שבכל יום חול קודם תפלת הבקר יפריש איזה פרוטות לצדקה והודיעתנו תורתנו תורת חיים הבטחת השם יתברך ויתעלה שעל ידי זה והריקותי לכם ברכה עד בלי די.

In response to your letter—which was somewhat delayed—in which you write about your place of livelihood not being suitable, and this has also affected your income. You are uncertain whether to take your children out of Yeshivah so they can help you earn a living.
Certainly, you should not even consider such a thing. On the contrary, through their study of our Torah, the Torah of Life, there will be an increase in blessings from the Giver of the Torah—He Who created and leads the world—in all that their parents need; that is, also in your livelihood and health. You should seek other advice but not, G‑d forbid, diminish in that matter through which blessing is increased even in your own affairs.
It is proper that every weekday before morning prayers you set aside some coins for charity. Our Torah, the Torah of Life, informs us of the promise of Hashem Yisbarach v'Yisaleh that through this: "VeHarikosi Lachem Brachah Ad Bli Dai" ("I will pour out for you a blessing beyond measure").
