... בודאי למותר לעוררה על חובתה העיקרית והפנימית של כל מורה ומחנכת שהוא לחסן את תלמידיהם שיוכלו לעמוד בנסיונות החיים ובפני הרוחות המנשבות בעולם מבלי לנטות מדרך החיים היא דרך תורתנו תורת חיים, ואפילו אלו שמורים הם לימוד שבהשקפה ראשונה אין לו שייכות להאמור, יש לנצלו גם הוא כרצוי כצנור להחדיר בהתלמידים אמונה פנימית בבורא עולם ומנהיגו שהוא עצם הטוב ואשר בטובו הגדול הורה לנו אורח חיים המביא לחיים מאושרים, ובהתבוננות המתאימה מוצאים האותיות איך להסביר את האמת להתלמידים בהסברה המתאימה לגילם ולמדת הבנתם, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

It is certainly unnecessary to remind you of the primary and inner duty of every teacher and educator: to fortify their students so they can withstand life's challenges and the prevailing winds of the world without deviating from the path of life—that is, the path of our Torah, a Torah of life.
Even those subjects that at first glance seem unrelated to this goal should also be utilized as appropriate—as a channel to instill in students an inner faith in the Creator and Ruler of the world, Who is the essence of goodness and Who, in His great goodness, has shown us a way of life that leads to true happiness.
With proper contemplation one finds ways to explain this truth to students in a manner suited to their age and level of understanding. There is nothing that stands in the way of will.

A teacher's deepest mission is not only academic instruction but nurturing faith and resilience in students. Every subject can serve as a channel for guiding them toward steadfastness in Torah and true happiness through belief in G‑d.
