במענה על מכתבו מט"ז וי"ט תמוז. כבקשתו יזכירו את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם, מתאים לכתבו.
ומאחר שהוא המבקש עבורם, הנה ככל שיוסיף הוא בעניני תורה ומצותי' שהן הם הצנור והכלים להמשכת וקבלת ברכות השי"ת, יוסיף השי"ת במילוי בקשתו.
על פי המבואר בכמה מקומות בגודל מעלת ענין הצדקה, מהנכון שאמו שתליט"א תפריש בכל יום חול בבקר איזה פרוטות לצדקה וכן יבדקו את המזוזות בדירתה בה נמצאת.
ענין מיוחד מצאתי, במה שכותב במכתבו שהי' מראשי ברית סטודנטים דתים יבנה, ובודאי ממשיך בקישורים לא רק עם חבריו בברית זו מלפנים אלא גם חברי הברית זו בהווה, אף שהוא כבר בוגר האוניברסיטה כפי כתבו, כי אף שבהנוגע לכל אחד ואחד כלל גדול בתורה ואהבת לרעך כמוך, ואם בנוגע להטבה גשמית וגופנית של רעהו הדברים אמורים עאכו"כ בהטבתו רוחנית המביאה לחיי העולם הבא ולחיי העולם הזה, הנה במיוחד ובמדה גדולה יותר מוטל ציווי זה על אנשים שמסוג אחד וחינוך דומה וכו', וכפתגם הקצר של חז"ל ענייך קודמין, ואין עני אלא בדעת, וכמובן נקרא בשם זה החסר במקצוע אחד אף שעשיר הוא במדע מקצועות אחרים, ועוד חיוב גדול יותר כשהמדובר הוא ברעהו איש צעיר המתכונן לסדר חייו, שלפעמים תכופות הגישה להסתדרות זו והתחלה טובעים את חותמם על כל משך שני חיי הצעיר וביתו אשר יקים במשך הזמן, היינו שהוא רושם לדורות ולדורי דורות, שעל פי זה מובן שכל יגיעה ומאמץ כדאים כיון שתוצאותיהם הן לעשיריות בשנים, וביחוד להשפיע בשטח הדת דחיי עם ישראל ובעבודת השם שזהו תכלית בריאת האדם וכדבר משנה (סוף קדושין) אני נבראתי לשמש את קוני, וינעם לי לקבל בשורות טובות בפעולותיו בשטח זה.

נוהגים בחוגים שונים לשלוח להספרי' שעל ידי מהנדפס ויוצא לאור על ידם בכל המקצועות ובכל הלשונות, כיון שספרי' זו גם תועלת הרבים בה, ובטח ינהג גם הוא באופן כזה ובפרט שהמקצועות שלו הם כפי כתבו פילוסופי' חינוך ומטמטיקה, ותודה מראש.

In response to your letter from the 16th and 19th of Tammuz.
As you requested, all those you wrote about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, for what they need according to your letter. Since you are requesting on their behalf, the more you increase in Torah and mitzvos—which are the channels and vessels for drawing down and receiving blessings from Hashem—the more Hashem will fulfill your requests.
As explained in many places about the great virtue of charity, it is proper that your mother (may she live long) should give a few coins to charity every weekday morning. Also, have the mezuzos in her home checked where she resides.
I found something special in what you wrote in your letter—that you were one of the founders of Brit Students Datim Yavneh. Surely you continue to maintain connections not only with your former friends from this group but also with current members of this group, even though you have already graduated university as you wrote. For although regarding every individual there is a great principle in Torah: 'Ve'ahavta l'reiacha kamocha' (Love your fellow as yourself), and if this applies to physical or material benefit for one's fellow, how much more so regarding spiritual benefit that brings both to life in this world and in the World to Come—this commandment especially applies even more strongly to people of similar type and background. As our Sages said concisely: 'Your poor come first,' and 'There is no poverty except in knowledge.' Clearly someone lacking in one area is called by this name even if he is wealthy in other fields. There is an even greater obligation when it comes to a young person preparing for his life’s path; often an approach or beginning leaves its mark on all his years ahead and on his future household—meaning it leaves an impression for generations—so every effort is worthwhile since its results last decades. Especially when influencing others in matters of religion—the life of the Jewish people—and service of Hashem, which is the purpose of man’s creation as stated in Mishnah (end of Kiddushin): 'I was created to serve my Creator.' I look forward to hearing good news about your activities in this area.

Surely you will do likewise—especially since your fields are philosophy, education, and mathematics as you wrote—and thank you in advance.
