במענה על מכתבה מי"א תמוז, במה שכותבת אודות חבר לבעלה בלימוד תורת החסידות, מהנכון הי' שתדבר בזה עם עסקני צעירי אגודת חב"ד, שענינים אלו הם ממטרת אגודתם בטח ישתדלו בזה כפי האפשרי, אבל זאת להעיר, שאף שאחד מהענינים שהתורה נקנית הוא הלימוד בדבוק חברים בכ"ז מובן ופשוט שגם באם אי אפשר באיזה תקופה ומאיזה סיבה שתהי' להשיג חבר או גם מורה דרך בזה, אין זה פוטר מן הלימוד כלל וכלל, לא מלימוד חלק תורה זה כמו שאין פוטר מלימוד חלק תורה אחר, ובפרט שלמי שיש לו ידיעה בנגלה דתורה ובלימוד המוסר שבלי ספק שיכול ללמוד גם בפני עצמו, ובפרט לאחר שמשך זמן קבל לקח מהרגילים בלימודים אלו, ומובן ופשוט שגם על לימוד חלק תורה זה, אמרו רז"ל יגעת ומצאת, ויגיעה היינו כפשוטו שצריך לייגע את כח שכלו והתבוננות שלו, ולכן אין להתרשם אם הידיעה וקליטת הענינים באים בגישה ראשונה לא כדי כל צרכם, וכן אין להתרשם אם אין עדיין מבינים כל דיוקי הלשונות ועוד ועוד.
בטח יש להשיג את הקונטרס לימוד החסידות לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שממנו יבואר האמור לעיל בפרטית ובהסברה יותר, ובפרט בפרק י"א שם.
בטח השתתפו היא וגם בעלה שיחיו בהתועדות דימי הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז כ"א מתאים לענינו, ויה"ר שיהי' בהצלחה היינו שישפיע על הימים שבועות וחדשים שלאח"ז.
כיון שאין מזכירה ע"ד בריאותה - תקותי שמתאים למכתבי מאז הסיחה דעתה מזה, כי בריאה היא.

In response to your letter from the 11th of Tammuz, regarding what you write about a study partner for your husband in learning Chassidus: it would be appropriate to discuss this with the activists of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, as these matters are among their organization's purposes and they will surely try to help as much as possible.
However, it should be noted that although one of the ways Torah is acquired is through studying with friends, it is understood and obvious that even if at some time or for any reason it is not possible to find a partner or even a mentor in this area, this does not exempt one from learning at all—not from this part of Torah just as one is not exempt from any other part.
Especially for someone who already has knowledge in Nigleh (the revealed part of Torah) and in Mussar study—certainly he can learn on his own, especially after having received instruction for some time from those accustomed to these studies.
It is clear and simple that regarding this area of Torah study as well, our Sages said: "Yagata u'Matzata" (If you toil you will find), and toil here means literally exerting one's intellect and contemplation. Therefore, one should not be discouraged if understanding and absorbing the material does not come fully on the first approach; nor should one be discouraged if all the nuances of language are not yet understood, and so on.
Certainly you can obtain the booklet "Limud HaChassidus" by my revered father-in-law the Rebbe, which explains all the above in detail and with greater clarity—especially chapter 11 there.
Surely both you and your husband participated in the farbrengen (gathering) of the days of redemption—the 12th and 13th of Tammuz—as appropriate to our topic. May it be G‑d's will that it brings success—that is, it should have an effect on the days, weeks, and months that follow.
Since you do not mention anything about your health—I hope that as I wrote previously you have put this matter out of mind because you are healthy.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that while learning Chassidus with others is valuable, one must persist even when alone. Effort leads to understanding over time; do not be discouraged by initial difficulties. Participation in farbrengens strengthens ongoing growth.
