חוגים ידועים מפרסמים שמועה מבהילה, שהרבנות הראשית בארץ ישראל התירה נסיעה באניה ישראלית שמלחיה יהודים וחזקתה וברור שתיסע גם בשבת. על סמך זה רוצים אחדים מהנוער האמריקני שומרי שבת להפליג באניה כזאת בערב שבת הבע"ל.
בטח כהדר"ג יאחז באמצעים המתאימים בעוד מועד.

Certain circles are spreading an alarming rumor that the Chief Rabbinate in Eretz Yisrael has permitted travel on an Israeli ship whose crew are Jews and which is known and certain to travel also on Shabbos. Based on this, some American youth who observe Shabbos wish to set sail on such a ship this coming Friday.
Surely, as befits your esteemed position, you will take appropriate measures in a timely manner.
