נאך א לאנגען איבערריס בין איך געווען צופרידען צו באקומען אייער בריף פון יום שני, אין וועלכען איר שרייבט דעם המשך ענין בהנוגע צו דער בית הכנסת בא אייך, און דער עיקר וואס איר האט באווארענט אז אין חדש תשרי הבע"ל זאלען די ענינים זיין דארטען בסדר, און מען דארף האפן אז אויך אויף להבא וועט אויך אזוי זיין, און איך וויל זיין זיכער אז אויך להבא וועט איר ניט אפגעשוואכט ווערען אין דער השתדלות, און עס איז דאך באוואוסט דער מאמר רז"ל הבא לטהר מסייעין לו, ויהי רצון מבורא עולם ומנהיגו אז אויך אייער באזוך באם קאנווענשאן זאל בריינגען געוויסע רעזולטאטען, און ניט נאר אין דער פראגע פון דער בית הכנסת נאר בכלל צו עניני יהדות.
איר דערמאנט ניט וועגען אייערע בני בית און וועגען זיך, נעם איך אן אז אלץ איז בסדר ובשלום.

דעם המשך ענין: המחיצה בבית הכנסת, ראה לעיל שם. המשפט נמשך עד שנת תשי"ט, שאז פסק בית המשפט העליון שבמישיגן שהמחיצה צריכה להשאר בבית הכנסת, ובקשר לזה הדפיס ספר גדול בשם "קדושת בית הכנסת" - אוסף תשובות בענין חיוב מחיצה בבית הכנסת, ובו מסופר על המשפט.

After a long interruption, I was pleased to receive your letter from Monday, in which you write the continuation of the matter regarding your synagogue, and most importantly that you have assured that in the upcoming month of Tishrei, G‑d willing, things will be in order there. We must hope that this will also be the case going forward, and I want to be sure that you will not weaken your efforts in this matter. It is well known what our Sages say: "HaBa L'Taher Mesay'in Lo" (One who comes to purify is assisted), and may it be the will of the Creator and Ruler of the world that your visit to the convention will also bring certain results—not only regarding the synagogue issue but also generally for matters of Judaism.
You did not mention anything about your family or yourself; I assume that all is well and peaceful.
