נעם לי לקבל הפתקא שלו ביחד עם המצורף אליו, ומוסגר בזה קבלה ממוסדות אשר על שם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע אשר באה"ק ת"ו, ארץ אשר ה' אלקיך דורש אותה מראשית השנה עד אחרית שנה אשר הם הן - וכדוגמתם - המגינים עלי' ועל כל המחזיק בהם ומשתדל בהוספה עליהם הן במספר התלמידים והן בשעות הלימוד, שהם הגורמים וממשיכים אשר ה' יבנה בית וה' ישמר עיר וגו' וכאשר פתח ההסברה בזה רבי אבא בר כהנא וביארו הדבר ר' אסי ור' אמי, אשר הסופרים ומשנים שהם הוגים ומשנים את התורה ביום ובלילה כו' (מדרש איכה רבה בתחלתו).
ויה"ר שבקרוב ממש ובחסד וברחמים יערה רוח ממרום על כאו"א בתוך כלל ישראל ואז יראה בעיניו ובאזניו ישמע ולבבו יבין, אשר אנחנו בשם ה' אלקינו נזכיר והוא ישלח עזרתו מקדש ויקיים הבטחתו, יעננו ביום קראנו בגאולה האמיתית ושלימה.

I was pleased to receive your note along with its enclosure, and enclosed here is a receipt from the institutions named after my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbg"m zya"a in Eretz HaKodesh tevuah, a land which the L‑rd your G‑d seeks out from the beginning of the year to its end (Devarim 11:12). These institutions—and those like them—are the protectors of the land and all who support them and strive to increase both the number of students and hours of study. They are the cause and conduit for 'the L‑rd will build a house, the L‑rd will guard a city,' etc., as explained by Rabbi Abba bar Kahana and further clarified by Rabbi Assi and Rabbi Ami: that scribes and repeaters who study and review Torah day and night (Eicha Rabbah at its beginning) are those who bring this about.
May it be His will that very soon, with kindness and mercy, a spirit from Above will be poured upon each individual within all Israel. Then he will see with his eyes, hear with his ears, and understand with his heart that we invoke the name of the L‑rd our G‑d, He will send His help from holiness and fulfill His promise: 'He will answer us on the day we call' with the true and complete redemption.

Summary
