במענה על מכתבו. - כבקשתו יזכירוהו ואת ב"ב שיחיו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך להם, ויהי רצון שיתעסק ככל יכולתו בהחזקת כל עניני היהדות בסביבתו ומושפעיו הקרובה ואפילו הרחוקה, וכבר נודע מאמר רז"ל - בהנוגע לבני ישראל, אני ישנה (בגלותא) ולבי ער להקב"ה לתורתו ומצותי', אלא שצריך המעורר לעורר בדברים היוצאים מן הלב ואז נכנסים ללב השומעים, וכשמעוררים וחוזרים ומעוררים הרי סו"ס פועלים פעולתם בהנוגע לפועל ובחיי היום יומים, וכיון שהטוב הוא בלי גבולי, הרי תמיד ישנו מה להוסיף לשפר ולשכלל והשי"ת יזכהו לעשות בזה מתוך בריאות והרחבת הדעת.

In response to his letter. – As requested, he and his family will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, for all that they need. May it be G‑d's will that he engages to the best of his ability in strengthening all aspects of Judaism in his surroundings and among those he influences, both near and even far. It is already known from our Sages' saying regarding the Jewish people: "Ani Yesheinah (in exile) v'Libi Er leHakadosh Baruch Hu l'Torato u'Mitzvotav" (I am asleep [in exile] but my heart is awake to the Holy One Blessed Be He, to His Torah and commandments), but one who seeks to awaken must do so with words that come from the heart; then they enter the heart of those who listen. When one awakens and continues to awaken, eventually it has its effect practically in daily life. And since goodness is without limit, there is always more to add, improve, and perfect. May Hashem grant him success in this with health and peace of mind.
With blessing as is customary from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe: To receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
