Although it is generally assumed that an agent fulfills his mission—especially when it concerns official matters such as postal services—nevertheless, I explicitly confirm receipt of your letter and its enclosure, which I read on Erev Rosh Chodesh Ziv at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory. May it be G‑d's will that very soon the heartfelt wishes of you and your wife for a suitable match for your daughter be fulfilled for good. May it be a chassidic match in the path of your ancestors and forebears, in a lifestyle fitting your wishes, and may you see much nachas from her with health and peace of mind.
It is already well known what is explained in many places that Iyar is an acronym for "the Merkavah" (in line with our Sages' teaching that Ziv means 'illumination,' see there), and it is explained elsewhere about service in the manner of a Merkavah in many places.
