לאחרי שתיקתו הארוכה נתקבל מכתבו שהתחיל לכותבו ג' אדר, בו כותב על איזה מהענינים, ולפלא שהשמיט ענינים אחדים, ואפשר הטעם מפני שאחרים התעסקו בזה, וכבר ידועה בקשתי לאנ"ש אשר נוסף על מה שכותבים הם מצדם בהנודע להם, נכון שיעוררו לשאר העסקנים שיודיע כאו"א במקצוע שלו...
במ"ש אודות הנחיצות להרבות מספר התלמידים בתומכי תמימים ובכלל במוסדות חינוך חב"ד, הוא נחוץ עוד הרבה יותר מאשר משערים, וכבר כתבתי כ"פ בזה שצריכים אריינחאפען, כי כעבור זמן קצר יחפשו תלמידים-ות מיט ליכט, און מען וועט רייסין זיך איבער זיי, ובמילא מאבדים עתה הזדמנות להוסיף מאות תלמידים במוסדות חינוך חב"ד, ורק מפני רשלנות והעדר שימת לב אפילו לענינים הפשוטים ביותר מודגשים ומובלטים.
במ"ש אודות שאלת את"ה, כבר ענו ע"ז, ויה"ר שיבוא לפו"מ. תקותי אף שאינו מזכיר עד"ז, שעשו פאטא מכנוס דעניני מל"ח, וכן נרשמו הדבורים או עכ"פ ירשמו אותם עתה, ובמילא יוכלו לפרסם עד"ז באופן המתאים ולאחרי שאראה החומר ואקבל הצעות עד"ז, אפשר כדאי להדפיסו שיהי' בציור חוברת או להדפיס בבטאון או בקובץ דכאן...
מבהיל ומצער מה שמתארך כ"כ ענין בניית המקוה, ואיני יודע מה עוד אפשר לעשות בזה.
במ"ש אודות עבודתו הוא ביחוד הנה צריך הי' להתעסק ראשו ורובו בענין ההפצה, אבל ביחד עם זה לעורר את כל השייכים לעסקנות הדרושה ומתאימה בכל שאר הענינים, והתעוררות כדבעי פירושה, אשר כעבור זמן קצר מההתעוררות באים ושואלים ודורשים מה נעשה בזה, ולמחר עוה"פ ולמחרתיים עוד הפעם, ואשר אז סוכ"ס פועלים.

After your long silence, your letter was received, which you began writing on 3 Adar. In it you write about some matters, and it is surprising that you omitted several topics. Perhaps the reason is that others were involved with them. My request to Anash is already known: in addition to what they write from their side about what is known to them, it is proper to encourage other activists so that each one will report in his own area...
Regarding what you wrote about the necessity to increase the number of students in Tomchei Temimim and generally in Chabad educational institutions: this need is much greater than imagined. I have already written several times that we must seize the opportunity because after a short time people will search for students with a candle and will compete over them. As a result, we are now losing the chance to add hundreds of students to Chabad educational institutions—only due to negligence and lack of attention even to the simplest matters which are emphasized and highlighted.
Regarding your question about Eshet (the Association of Yeshiva Students), this has already been answered, and may it be G‑d's will that it come into practical action.
I hope—even though you do not mention it—that a photo was taken from the conference on Melamedim matters, and that the talks were recorded or at least will be recorded now. This way they can be published appropriately; after I see the material and receive suggestions regarding this, perhaps it would be worthwhile to print it as a booklet or publish it in a journal or collection here...
It is alarming and distressing how much the matter of building the mikvah is being delayed; I do not know what else can be done about this.
Regarding your personal work: especially, you should have been primarily involved in outreach activities. But together with this, you should also motivate everyone connected to necessary activism in all other areas. Proper motivation means that shortly after being inspired one comes back and asks what has been done about it—again tomorrow and again the next day—and thus eventually things get accomplished.
The pan enclosed in your letter will be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nbgm zya. May you have good news to report.
