Shalom u'Vrachah!

It is somewhat surprising that since your letter at the beginning of Adar and the one before it, there have been no updates from you, even though I strongly hope that you are increasing in matters of Chasidut both in study and in practice, as our Sages require us to always ascend in holiness. Likewise, you surely utilized the days of Pesach for such matters, since this season of our freedom is a beginning achieved through conduct fitting for freedom—engraved (cheirut) upon the tablets. Certainly you will inform me with the necessary details in your next letter, as well as about how ... shlita is settling in. May it be G‑d's will that all these matters be only for good news.

With blessing.

In the name of my revered teacher and master shlita—secretary

It is obvious that sleep should be at night (according to both Nigleh and Nistar; apparently also according to nature), and only in exceptional cases should there be a short nap during the day (see what is written about this in Sefer Minhagei HaChatam Sofer). Regarding Shabbat, see Shulchan Aruch HaRav siman 281 and Pri Etz Chaim Shaar 16 chapter 1; further analysis is needed. The manner of study should fit the schedule of the yeshiva where you learn, but within that framework—according to our Sages' teaching: "in a place his heart desires."

Summary

The Rebbe encourages ongoing growth in Chasidic learning and practice, especially using Pesach as an opportunity for spiritual renewal. He offers practical advice on maintaining proper routines and adapting Torah study to one's personal strengths within communal structure.
