מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבם הראשון לפני הפסח, ולפלא שאין עוד כל ידיעות מהם ובפרט בנוגע למבצע המצה שמורה וניצול ימי חג הפסח בכלל ובודאי יתקבל ימים אלו מכתב מפורט ככל הדרוש.
ועל של עתה באתי, לעוררם ע"ד הכנות הדרושות בקשר עם ל"ג בעומר הבע"ל, ויה"ר שיוסיפו בשנה זו על השנים שעברו וכדרישת רז"ל מעלין בקדש, ואחכה לבשו"ט ומפורטות.

I acknowledge receipt of your first letter before Pesach, and it is surprising that there has been no further news from you, especially regarding the shemurah matza campaign and utilizing the days of Pesach in general. Surely, in these days I will receive a detailed letter as required.
For now I am writing to urge you about the necessary preparations connected with the upcoming Lag BaOmer. May it be G‑d's will that you increase this year over previous years, as our Sages require: "Ma'alin b'kodesh" (we ascend in matters of holiness). I await good and detailed news.
