I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 8th of Adar, in which you write about activities in the area of Nshei U'Bnos Chabad. It seems from your letter that even now, only a few from Anash are interested in this matter according to its great importance, despite the many statements on this subject by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, both orally and in writing—and some even printed.

May it be His will that you find the right words to explain to all those participating in this great work about their merit and the great nachas ruach (pleasure) they bring to our holy leaders. Also, to inspire those who still stand aside or only participate minimally about the burden they place upon themselves—in addition to the burden and deficiency they cause in their environment where they could be active. For there is a lack in the entire stature of Anash, and it is difficult to elaborate on such a painful matter.

Regarding your notification about your birthday: surely you have followed the custom of Anash in recent years regarding birthdays. May it be His will that this year be one of success for you both in personal matters and communal matters.
