במענה על מכתבו בבקשת ברכה. אזכירו בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע. וידוע ידע גודל הזכות וגם האחריות אשר עליו, כי מתאים למאמר רז"ל לפום גמלא שיחנא, היכולת המלאה בידו לחיות באורח חיים חסידותי במלא מובן המלה, ולא רק בימי השבת ויום טוב אלא בחיי היום יומים, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצונו, ולא עוד אלא שגם זכות אבות אבותיו מסייעתו שהיו אנשי מסירות נפש על תורתנו תורת חיים, וזכו להמשיך כחות אלו ויכולת זו בבניהם ובני בניהם, אלא שעל כאו"א להוציא כחות נעלים נעלמים אלו מהכח אל הפועל וידועה הבטחת חז"ל, אדם מקדש עצמו מעט למטה מקדשים אותו הרבה מלמעלה, ולא עוד אלא שבתקופה זו גם האושר בחיים הגשמים תלוי באורח חיים זה, והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב בכל האמור.

In response to your letter requesting a blessing.
I will mention you at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbagm zya. It is well known how great the merit is—and also the responsibility upon you—for as our Sages say: "Lefum gamla shichna" (according to the camel is its load). You have the full ability to live a Chasidic lifestyle in the fullest sense of the word—not only on Shabbos and Yom Tov but in everyday life. This depends solely on your will. Moreover, you are aided by the merit of your ancestors who were people of self-sacrifice for our Torah, the Torah of Life, and they merited to transmit these strengths and abilities to their children and grandchildren. However, it is up to each individual to bring out these lofty hidden powers from potential into action. It is well known what our Sages promised: "A person sanctifies himself a little below—they sanctify him greatly from above." Furthermore, in this era even happiness in material life depends on this way of living. May Hashem grant you success to share good news regarding all of the above.
