Shalom u'Vrachah!

It is surprising that for such a long time there have been no letters or news from you, even though your work is in education on the pure path of holiness for Jewish children in teaching Torah, etc. It is already known that regarding Torah matters in particular, as stated in the Zohar, one must 'spread it out every day,' especially when teaching or supervising students in a Chassidic institution where the spirit of its founders and directors—our holy Nesi'im—hovers over them in an encompassing way and also penetrates inwardly. The teachers, mashpi'im, and supervisors are the channels through which these influences are drawn. This should be understood well.

Regarding my opinion about the punctuation of 'zecher Amalek,' I wrote long ago to Haraha"g etc. R. Chaim Naeh of blessed memory what seemed correct to me, and he included my view in the general calendar. It is based on a teaching from Rabbeinu HaZaken (printed in Boneh Yerushalayim and brought in Sefer Ketzos HaShulchan part IV by the above).

As for your question about placing the shel yad tefillin bag over the tefillin for the entire duration of prayer to protect its corners: this is indeed my practice. Of course, a section of the bag opposite the yud is cut out so that the yud does not shift from its place, as per the words of the holy Zohar. However, with the tefillin of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, this section (opposite the yud) was intact; from this it is understood that during prayer there was no bag placed there. Certainly his father (the Rebbe) did likewise.

Blessings for good news in all mentioned above.
