ת"ח על טרחתו בשילוח ספרי מוסד הרב קוק, וספרי הרב עובדי' שי' אף שפלא קצת שמתארך השקו"ט בזה והמשלוח כ"כ...
במ"ש שהרב עובדי' שי' רוצה להחליף הספרים בספרי שו"ת צ"צ, הנה אף שמחד גיסא אין צריך להוזיל מחיר ספרי קה"ת כיון שסו"ס יכול להתקבל הרושם שאין מייקרים בהם, אבל לאידך גיסא צריך שיגיעו ובפרט לאלו שמורים הלכה בפועל והשפעה להם בסביבה, ובודאי להנ"ל וכן עד"ז בעתיד ישנם עוד ספרים שהו"ל הוא או מהשייך אליו, ובמילא יש לצאת שתי נקודות האמורות.
במ"ש אודות הספרים בשביל מוסד הרב קוק, שעדיין לא מסר להם, הנה אלו הנמצאים אצלינו נשלחים על שמו עתה, והם הקריאה והקדושה, קב נקי, היום יום, מאור עינים, אבל סידור תורה אור לאדמו"ר הזקן עם שער הכולל, אזל זה מכבר מן השוק, ומכינים אותו עתה לדפוס, וכשיודפס יושלחו גם הם. כן נשלח לו הקטלוג החדש ויוכל להראות להנ"ל בהנוגע להספרים שהופיעו בינתים ומהם יראו אלו שאינם שעדיין נמצאים בדפוס.
בודאי ניצלו ימי חג הפסח באופן המתאים הן באגו"ח וצעירי אגו"ח ויכתוב בפרטיות הדרושה עד"ז ובטח גם מצדו יעוררם על הנחיצות בזה ות"ח מראש על הטרחה בכל האמור.

In response to your letter from Erev Pesach. Thank you for your effort in sending the sefarim of Mosad Harav Kook and the sefarim of Rabbi Ovadya shiyichyeh, though it is a bit surprising that the discussion and shipping have taken so long...
Regarding what you wrote that Rabbi Ovadya shiyichyeh wants to exchange the books for volumes of Shu"t tzt"z: On one hand, there is no need to lower the price of Kehot books since ultimately it could give the impression that they are not valued highly; but on the other hand, it is important that they reach especially those who rule on halacha in practice and have influence in their surroundings. Certainly for him and similarly in the future there will be more books published by him or connected to him, so both points mentioned should be addressed.
Regarding what you wrote about the books for Mosad Harav Kook that you have not yet given them: those currently with us are now being sent in your name—these are Kri'ah V'Kedushah, Kav Naki, Hayom Yom, Me'or Einayim. However, the Torah Or Siddur of Admor Hazaken with Sha'ar Hakolel has long been out of print and is now being prepared for printing; when it is printed it will also be sent. The new catalog is also being sent to you so you can show them regarding books published in the meantime; from this they will see which ones are still only in print.
Certainly you made use of Pesach properly both with Agudas Chassidei Chabad and Tzeirei Agudas Chassidei Chabad. Please write details about this as needed and surely you will also encourage them regarding its importance. Thank you in advance for all your efforts on these matters.

Regarding previous letters—the responses surely arrived long ago. By the way, Rabbi Ovadya's sefarim have been received. Surely you are also interested in other authors—to encourage them to send their books to our library here, at least as an exchange for Kehot books.
