...וכמדומה לי שפעם הזדמן לי להביע השקפתי בזה בשיחתנו עם כ', אשר כדאי לעודד את הנוער והצעירים ולתת להם מקום ב"מזרח" אף שאולי עדיין לא בשלו כשרונותיהם וראויים לזה, ולפעמים סובלים גם אחרים מאי-הכשרתם הגמורה בשביל התועלת מניצול כחות רעננים ומסיפוק נפשי שיש לכל אחד מההכרה שעזר לפלוני להסתדר יותר טוב בחייו אם בסביבת העוזר לו או אפילו בסביבה אחרת...
בטח עברו עליו ימי הפורים בשמחה, ויהי רצון שתהי' השמחה בלי הגבלה - הן מצד תנאים החיצוניים והן מצד תנאים הפנימיים - וכמצווה: עד דלא ידעי, ותומשך שמחה אמיתית על כל ימות השנה.

...And it seems to me that I once had the opportunity to express my view on this in our conversation with you, that it is worthwhile to encourage the youth and young people and to give them a place of honor (mizrach) even though perhaps their talents have not yet matured and they are not yet worthy of it. Sometimes others may also suffer from their incomplete preparation, but for the benefit of utilizing fresh energies and the satisfaction each person feels from knowing he helped someone else settle better in life—whether in his own environment or even elsewhere—it is worth it.
Surely you experienced Purim with joy, and may it be G‑d's will that the joy should be without limitation—both from external conditions and internal ones—as is commanded: ad d'lo yada (until one does not know), and that true joy should continue throughout the entire year.
