מאשר הנני קבלת המכתבים מז' י"א וי"ד שבט עם המוסגר בהם. [ובמ]ענה עליהם.
א) בנוגע לבנין מרכזי דתו"ת בכפר חב"ד, מהנכון שיהי' בריחוק מקום [...] אפשרי מבי"ס למלאכה, ומהטעמים שכתבתי מכבר, ועוד טעמים...
ד) בהנוגע לבי"ס לדפוס, בודאי כבר קבלו הידיעה ע"י הרה"ג הרה"ח עוסק בצ"צ כו' מוהרב"א שי' גאראדעצקי, שצריך להזדרז בהבנין ובאופן המתאים, וכמו שכתבתי גם במכתבי הקודמים...
ו) כבקשתם נשלח המכתב דחוף, ובטח יאשרו קבלתו, תיכף. והעיקר ע"ד שיגשו לפעולות בהאמור.

ז"ע נתקבל המכ' מט"ז שבט עם המוסג"ב. ובמענה עליו:
ז) בי"ס לדפוס של ליינאטיפ (ואפשר גם סדור יד) והשייך לזה - מוכרח. ואין להסתפק באפסעט בלבד בשו"א. ולפלא גם השאלה בזה. ומובן שבאם יתנו גם ציוד של אפסעט, נוסף על הנ"ל - כדאי הדבר. ובתנאי שלא יגרעו בהנ"ל, שלע"ע הוא העיקרי.
ח) בי"ס לבנות מוכרח וה"ז כו"כ פעמים עוררתי על שייסדו זה בכפר...
ט) ענין מעין "כולל", אינו מופרך (אף שחדש הוא בחב"ד), ובלבד שיבוא בהמשך לכתות הבחורים, שיהי' לזמן מוגבל, שיהיו מוכשרים לנצלם אח"כ בתור ר"מ משפיעים וכיו"ב ושיתחייבו מראש ע"ז, שלא ילמדו בעוד כולל וכיו"ב, שעכ"פ חלק מהם יקדישו עצמם ללימוד חסידות ולא רק כולל דנגלה, ונפלינו.

To the administration of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim and the administration of the vocational schools, may G‑d be with them. Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letters from the 7th, 11th, and 14th of Shevat with their enclosures. [And in] response to them:
a) Regarding the central building of Tomchei Temimim in Kfar Chabad: it is proper that it be at a distance [...] if possible from the vocational school, for reasons I have already written previously and for additional reasons...
d) Regarding the printing school: you have surely already received information through Haraha"g Haraha"ch who is involved with tzt"z etc., Moharav"a Garadetski, that construction must be expedited and done appropriately, as I have also written in my previous letters...
f) As per your request this letter is being sent urgently; surely you will confirm its receipt immediately. The main thing is to proceed with action on what was mentioned above.

The letter from the 16th of Shevat with its enclosure was received. In response:
g) A printing school for linotype (and possibly also manual typesetting) and related matters is essential. One should not suffice with offset alone under any circumstances. It is surprising that this question even arises. Of course, if they also provide offset equipment in addition to the above, it is worthwhile—on condition that it does not detract from the above, which for now is primary.
h) A girls' school is essential; I have already urged many times to establish this in Kfar Chabad...
i) The idea of something like a "kollel" is not out of place (even though it is new in Chabad), provided it follows after the boys' classes, is for a limited time so they can later serve as teachers or mashpi'im and similar roles—and they must commit in advance not to study in another kollel or similar institution; at least some should dedicate themselves to learning Chassidus and not just Nigleh kollel—and we will be distinguished.
Summary
