Certainly you will immediately proceed to concrete activities, as the Mishnah rules: "Not study is the main thing but action," especially as is known from the Baal Shem Tov's precise reading of what is stated: "In a dry and weary land... so have I seen You in holiness" (BaEretz Tziyah VeAyef... BaKodesh Chaziticha). Since lately there has been a significant weakening in the activities of Tzeirei Aguch in Jerusalem, this should surely awaken within you added effort and energy as per the above verse.

On this note, I wish to point out what I have written several times to the administration of Yeshivas Toras Emes: that all married Avrechim, especially those who have joined recently, should volunteer some time each day for communal work in Chabad's vineyard. The administration replied that from their side the Avrechim are ready to fulfill this duty and privilege and have conveyed this to Tzeirei Aguch to consult with them on how best to utilize their talents, time, and energy. It is surprising that apparently nothing has yet been done by Tzeirei Aguch in this regard. It would be appropriate for them to meet soon with the administration of Yeshivas Toras Emes; you may show them this letter and together devise a plan regarding all that was mentioned.

It is surely unnecessary to point out that as with any work, its beginning should be well considered and aimed at strengthening existing matters. However, within as short a time as possible one must add to them—and then will be fulfilled our Sages' assurance: "Whoever increases is given increased [blessing]."

Summary

The Rebbe urges immediate renewal of practical efforts and collaboration between organizations for greater impact. Thoughtful beginnings are important, but swift growth and increased dedication bring additional blessings.
