...וכבר ידוע בפירוש מרז"ל שעקם הכתוב שמונה אותיות אשר איננה טהורה, והקושיא פשוטה שהרי כמה פעמים נאמר בפ' שמיני, וראה בפירוש טמאה מבלי עיקום, ומה נשתנה בפ' נח דוקא, והתירוץ שבספור דברים מעקם הכתוב כו', משא"כ כשנוגע למעשה צריכים להיות דברים ברורים, וגם זהו הוראת תוה"ק כמו ההוראה הנ"ל דעקם הכתוב, וגם בנדון דידן כן הוא כיון שנוגע לרבים ונוגע לענין הפצת המעיינות חוצה הכוללים תורת החסידות הדרכותי' ומנהגי'...

...And it is already well known from the explicit teaching of our sages that the Torah altered eight letters in the phrase "which is not pure," and the question is obvious: for in Parshas Shemini it says many times explicitly "impure" without alteration. Why is Parshas Noach different? The answer is that when telling a story, the Torah uses altered language, etc., whereas when it comes to practical matters, things must be stated clearly. This too is an instruction from our holy Torah just like the above teaching about altered wording. And so too in our case—since it concerns the public and involves spreading the wellsprings outward, which includes the teachings of Chassidus, its guidance and customs...
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that when sharing Chassidus publicly, clarity and directness are essential. Just as Torah uses clear language for practical guidance, so too should we communicate openly when disseminating Chassidic teachings to the public.
