און געוויס איז חקוק בא דיר די נקודה, אז דער פארען אין מאנטרעאל איז אויף צו זיין א לעבעדיגער באווייז, ווי א תלמיד פון תומכי תמימים דארף זיין, און דער באווייז דארף ניט זיין נאר אין דער צייט פון לערנען און דאוונען און אפּהיטען די סדרים פון דער ישיבה בדיוק, נאר אויך צו דינען אלס סעמפּעל און לעבעדיגער באווייז ווי מען דארף זיך אויפפירען, אין די צווישען צייט פון לערנען און דאוונען, ווי עס ווערט ערקלערט אין חסידות א עבד ווי ער דינט זיין אדון, אפילו ווען דער אדון איז ניט מער ווי א בשר ודם, על אחת כמה וכמה פעמים ככה ווען דער אדון איז דאס מלך מלכי המלכים הקב"ה, אז עס דארף זיין קענטיג די עבדות א גאנצן טאג און אפילו אין שלאף.
און אויך אויף דעם איז געזאגט געווארען דער פסק רז"ל, יגעת ומצאת, ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

I was pleased to receive your letter, in which you write about your study schedule both in Nigleh and Chassidus. Surely you are fulfilling our holy Torah's ruling that one must always ascend in holiness, and when one works on this and puts in effort, the ruling "Yagata u'Matzata" (You have toiled and found) is fulfilled.
Surely it is engraved within you the point that your journey to Montreal is to be a living example of how a Tomchei Temimim student should be. This example should not only be during times of learning and davening and keeping the yeshivah's schedule precisely, but also to serve as a model and living proof of how one should conduct oneself even between times of learning and davening. As explained in Chassidus: a servant serves his master even when the master is no more than flesh and blood—how much more so when the Master is the King of kings, Hakadosh Baruch Hu—that one's servitude should be evident all day long, even during sleep.
And regarding this too it is said by our Sages: "Yagata u'Matzata" (You have toiled and found), and there is nothing that stands before willpower.
Blessings for success in Torah study with awe of Heaven, for fulfilling mitzvos with hiddur (beauty), and especially for service in prayer.
