מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו - בלי הוראת זמן הכתיבה - ותקותי שבינתים קבל ג"כ פ"ש ע"י מר ומרת פרופ. קירזאן שיחיו.
כבקשתו אזכיר את כל אלה שכותב אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, וכיון שנכנסים זה עתה בחדש כסלו הוא חדש הגאולה, אשר לא אותנו בלבד פדה בשלום אלא גם נפשנו ואור וחיות נפשנו ניתן לנו (לשון כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע במכתבו הידוע), הנה חדש הסגולה הוא לנסים בהנוגע להנשמה ובד"מ לנסים גם בהנוגע להגוף. וכידוע אשר הנס דחנוכה בעיקר הענינים היו בהנוגע להנשמה כי ישבו ישראל על אדמתם וכו', אלא שהמסובב מזה הי' גם מלחמה כפשוטה ופשטו ידם בממונם וכו', וכלשון הרמב"ם, וידוע ומפורסם פירוש הכתוב, והימים האלה (כשהם) נזכרים (בכל שנה ושנה הרי גם כל ההמשכות האלו בד"מ) ונעשים וגו', ובפרט שבריאות הגוף ג"כ ענין רוחני דקדושה כי היות הגוף בריא ושלם מדרכי השם הוא.
מוסג"פ מה שהו"ל לאחרונה, ובטח יעניין את כת"ר שי'.
המחכה לבשו"ט אשר שוב התחיל בהפצת המעיינות בעידנא דרעוא דרעוין וגם בשאר זמני השבוע אשר כל יומא ויומא עביד עבידתי' ועושה זה בשמחה ומתוך הטבת הבריאות.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter—without indication of when it was written—and I hope that in the meantime you have also received regards through Mr. and Mrs. Prof. Kirzan, may they live.
As you requested, I will mention all those you wrote about at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal. And since we are now entering the month of Kislev, which is the month of redemption—not only did He redeem us in peace but also our souls and the light and vitality of our souls were given to us (in the words of my revered teacher the Rebbe Rashab in his well-known letter)—this is a month auspicious for miracles concerning the soul and generally also for miracles concerning the body.
It is known that the miracle of Chanukah was primarily about matters of the soul, as Israel dwelled in their land etc., but as a result there was also an actual war and their possessions were affected etc., as Rambam writes. It is well known and publicized the explanation of the verse: "And these days (when) they are remembered (every year all these influences are generally drawn down) and performed etc." Especially since bodily health is also a spiritual matter of holiness, for having a healthy and whole body is one of the ways of serving Hashem.
I am enclosing what was recently published, which will surely interest your honor.
I await good news that you have again begun spreading the wellsprings at an especially auspicious time and also during other times throughout the week—since every day has its own service—and that you do this with joy and in improved health.
