...I was pleased with what you wrote in your letter of 17 MarCheshvan about the classes on the development of Chassidus, etc. And since it appears from your letter that the great majority of the listeners are people of influence in their surroundings, it is understood that every improvement in them is multiplied many times over when it reaches, through them, those whom they influence. Accordingly, an added effort in this is worthwhile.

Surely you will let me know of the actual change brought about by the appointment of the young man (avrech) Schwei, may he live, and also whether the new students have already entered the order of studies, etc.

...I believe I have already drawn their attention to the fact that it would be worthwhile for them to print, frequently, in the Montreal newspaper at least matters about Chassidus. Apparently my words have not yet "reached" them (in the sense of the word "reach" (הגיע) given in parentheses in Likkutei Torah at the beginning of Parshas Shemini: "anrühren," to touch), and until when? It is also worth considering whether there is room to print there reviews of what has been published by Kehot (Kehot Publication Society).

With blessing that the coming month — may it come to us for good — whose matters begin from Shabbos Mevarchim, be a month of redemption in the full sense of the word, and in the affairs of each and every one, for him and his household, may they live and be well, and with good news in all the above.
